Geert Egger

Executive summary

With an extensive background in international leadership and organizational development, Geert founded People in 2000.  

Prior to this, he held senior positions at the Institute for Futures Studies, Novo Nordisk, and Telia Denmark, following a number of years as a researcher.

Geert is the author of several books, articles, and case studies, and he serves as a lecturer and examiner at Copenhagen Business School.

Professional Experience
Education
  • Since founding People ApS in 2000, Geert has focused on organizational development (Organizational Review), leadership training through the Action Learning methodology, and, notably, the evaluation of boards, a practice recommended by the Nørby Committee in 2002.  In addition, Geert has held teaching and examination roles at Copenhagen Business School.
  • As Corporate Facilitator at Novo Nordisk, Geert was a pioneer in establishing the leadership culture that Novo Nordisk is known for today.  He played a pivotal role in the leadership and development of Telia’s operations in Denmark, contributing significantly to the establishment of the company’s organizational structure when it first entered the Danish market.
  • Master’s degree in social Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen.  
  • Ph.D. in Education and Psychology from DPU (Aarhus University).
